Director of Granherne Americas, and is responsible for growing the company's deepwater engineering team of marine, risers and subsea engineers in Houston and London. 30 years experience in design of deepwater and floating offshore drilling and production platforms and their station-keeping and riser systems.

Bachelor's and Master's of science degree in naval architecture from the Indian Institute of Technology and University of Michigan, respectively. Master's of civil engineering degree from Tulane University. A registered Professional Engineer in Civil Engineering.

Founded Omega Marine Engineering Systems in 1985, predecessor of Aker Engineering. Served as vice president of the Naval Architecture Group at Aker Engineering from 1991 to 1999, then joined KBR as vice president, Deepwater Technology.

Appointed as Director of Granherne Americas in 2005. Built KBR and Granherne’s marine, subsea and deepwater pipelines capability in Houston. Major driver in developing and implementing KBR and Granhernes global Subsea and Floating Production System Strategies as was Deepwater Technology Development.

Authored over sixty technical publications on naval architecture, mooring and riser system design, floating production systems, and deepwater drilling and production platforms.

Member of the Royal Institute of Naval Architects, Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers and Society of Petroleum Engineers.
