FOSTERING ENTREPRENEURSHIP

TIE - The Indus Entrepreneur - is world’s largest organization of entrepreneurs with over 20,000 members spread across 48 Chapters in 11 countries across the world – US, UK, Canada, India, Pakistan, Singapore, Malaysia, Dubai, Australia, Mauritius and Sweden. TIE was founded in 1994 by a group of successful Indo-American entrepreneurs in Silicon Valley. They had “made it” breaking glass ceilings, founding successful companies, and blazing a trail for the rest of their Diaspora. They came together to encourage, help and give back to aspiring, wannabe entrepreneurs.

TIE globally has three singular objectives:

· Foster entrepreneurship

· Mentor and help aspiring entrepreneurs

· Create networking & business opportunities for our members, participants & sponsors

· And in Houston we have added a 4th element.

We have YOUNG TIE – a flourishing sub group of TIE Houston - for aspiring entrepreneurs and young professionals under the age of 30.

TIE is A-Political, Secular and Inclusive. We welcome anyone who wants to participate and contribute, even if entrepreneurship is not their objective.
