True to her on screen image, Samvritha Sunil is the pretty girl next door, off the hullabaloo of the film sets. She has never really been in a hurry to grab the offers that come her way and has chosen the kind of films that she feels, suit her.

Close on the heels of Lal Jose's `Achanurangatha Veedu', "which has brought in the kind of appreciation that is just mind blowing," she has completed two more films in Malayalam - Sasi Paravoor's `Nottam' and Priyanandanan's `Pulijanmam'. And she is wrapping up `Uyir', `a matured love story', which incidentally is her maiden venture in Tamil, with Srikanth as the hero.

And for now, Samvritha has taken a break from the reel world and is neck-deep in studies as her exams will go on until early April.

Samvritha's entry into films happened with `Rasikan'. Though the film didn't create ripples at the box office, luckily for her, Samvritha was noted. `Nerariyan CBI' and `Chandrolsavam' were to follow.

Well, she seems to have hit it off really well with the offbeat filmmakers. Samvritha flashes a pearly grin in reply, "Perhaps my latest films could have given such an impression. I have been receiving quite a number of offers from the so-called art filmmakers of late. I have no complaints though. I am on the look out for meaningful roles anywhere."
