William Bradley "Brad" Pitt
(born December 18, 1963) is an American actor and film producer. He became known during the mid 1990s, after starring roles in several major Hollywood films, including Interview with the Vampire in 1994 and the thriller Se7en in 1995. Pitt has been nominated for an Academy Award and has won a Golden Globe Award, both for his role in Twelve Monkeys (1996).
In 1987, Pitt moved to Beverly Hills, where his first parts were in Growing Pains, Another World, Less Than Zero, No Man's Land, and five episodes on Dallas. He also had bit parts on 21 Jump Street and in the made-for-TV movie A Stoning in Fulham County. His first film role was in Dark Side of the Sun in 1988. In 1990, Pitt appeared in the Fox drama Glory Days and in the made-for-TV movies Too Young to Die and The Image. Pitt also had a small role in the film Thelma & Louise.
Pitt dated actress Gwyneth Paltrow during the 1990s. He met Friends actress Jennifer Aniston in 1998 and married her at an enclosed wedding ceremony in Malibu on July 29, 2000.
After Pitt and Aniston separated on in January 2005, Angelina Jolie was involved in a well-publicized Hollywood scandal in which she was the "other woman" who caused the divorce of actors Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston.
