IMPALA

Impala is a medium-sized African antelope. They are reddish-brown in color with lighter flanks, and have white underbellies. Males have lyre shaped horns which can reach up to 90 centimeters in length. Their food consists of a mixture of grasses and leaves. Impala are active during both day and night.

IGUANA

Iguanas live in tropical rainforest areas, mostly in lower altitudes in areas near water sources, like rivers or streams. Iguanas are regarded as omnivores. They are lizards native to tropical areas of Central, South America, and the Caribbean. An interesting thing is that they can by unknown means end their own life, probably by releasing toxins.

JAGUAR

Jaguar is the third-largest feline after the tiger and the lion, and on average the largest and most powerful feline in the Western Hemisphere. This spotted cat most closely resembles the leopard physically, although it is of sturdier build and it's behavioural and habitat characteristics are closer to those of the tiger. Rosettes on a jaguar's coat are larger, fewer in number, usually darker, and have thicker lines and small spots in the middle.

JACKAL

Jackals are nocturnal, most active at dawn and dusk. Their long legs and curved canine teeth are adapted for hunting small mammals, birds, and reptiles. Blunt feet and fused leg bones give them a long-distance runner's physique, capable

KOALA

Koala is a thickset arboreal marsupial herbivore native to Australia. The Koalas of South Australia were largely exterminated during the early part of the 20th century, but the state has since been repopulated with Victorian stock. Koala has a thicker, more luxurious coat, much larger ears, and longer limbs, which are equipped with large, sharp claws to assist with climbing.

KANGAROO

A kangaroo is a marsupial herbivore with large, powerful hind legs, large feet adapted for leaping, a long muscular tail for balance, and a small head. Like all marsupials female kangaroos have a pouch called a marsupium in which joeys complete postnatal development. The kangaroo is an Australian icon.

LION

Lion is the king of the forest with a large and muscular feline with a compact build. The lion can bring down and kill large prey with short, powerful legs, a strong jaw, and long canine teeth. They are carnivorous and widespread throughout Africa, Asia, and Europe.

LEOPARD

Leopard has a heavier, stockier body and has a larger head in proportion to its body, and has rosettes rather than dots. Leopards are excellent climbers and are more active at night searching for their prey. They are carnivorous mammals. Leopards which are melanistic, either all-black or very dark in coloration, are known as Black Panthers.
